Talk Abstract
Start-ups should set out to create products or services of tangible value, i.e. that solve problems and ultimately improve people's health. They also need to sell their vision and products: sell to investors, partners, and ultimately customers. These two challenges are related, but also very distinct. Drawing from my experience as co-founder of ImmunoScape, a biotech that develops TCR-T cell therapies against solid tumors in an innovative seed-and-boost approach, I will elaborate on some of the attitudes that shaped our team’s journey and may help move a start-up forward: Decide with the end in mind, Measure up to competitors, Good is good enough, and Be comfortable with change and uncertainty.
