Biosketch
Dr Toh graduated with commendation from the University Of Dundee, United Kingdom in 2008. He completed his general surgery specialist training under NHG-AHPL residency program which was accredited by the ACGME-I (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-International) and obtained the qualifications of M.Med (Surgery), MRCS (Edin) and FRCSEd (Gen) along the way. He was honoured as Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeon Edinburgh in 2016 and was admitted as Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 2017.
He was awarded the prestigious Ministry of Health – Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) 2019 award and successfully completed his clinical fellowship in Cambridge University Addenbrookes Hospital, United Kingdom. He has also accomplished surgical clinical observership in University of Strasbourg, France. Prior to his oversea fellowship, he had two-year clinical fellowship experiences in advanced minimally invasive upper gastrointestinal and bariatric metabolic surgery in SGH (Singapore General Hospital), NUH (National University Hospital) and TTSH (Tan Tock Seng Hospital), Singapore. In addition, he further sharpened his surgical skills through Master Classes in National Cancer Centre, Korea for Gastric Cancer, Gemelli University Hospital, Italy for Bariatric Endoscopic procedures and Bangkok Rajavithi Hospital, Thailand for Advanced Endoscopy & ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography).
