Biosketch

Dr Raghav Sundar is a clinician-scientist specialising in gastrointestinal oncology. He also specialises in experimental therapeutics and is a part of the Phase 1 clinical trials team in the institution. Dr Sundar underwent fellowship training at the Drug Development Unit, Royal Marsden Hospital, UK. His research interest is in genomics and epigenetics of gastroesophageal cancers and tumours that metastasize to the peritoneum, where his studies incorporate contemporary technology such as single cell sequencing, spatial transcriptomics and machine-learning. Another area of research interest is in chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy. Dr Sundar has published over 90 manuscripts, in high impact journals such as Cancer Discovery, Journal of Clinical Oncology, British Medical Journal, JAMA Oncology and Gut.
