Biosketch

Dr Lee is a Senior Consultant with the Department of General Surgery, Changi General Hospital. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2004 before completing her General Surgery specialist training in 2012. Dr Lee obtained a fellowship in General Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2012, and a fellowship in Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgery from Prince of Wales Hospital, Hong Kong in 2015.

Dr Lee’s interests include minimally invasive and robot assisted laparoscopic surgery for Upper Gastrointestinal Cancers and Metabolic Surgery for Metabolic Syndrome. She had served as the President of the Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society of Singapore from 2000 to 2021. She was the Co-Director of Endoscopy Centre in CGH from 2020-2022, and the Director of Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgery Service in CGH from 2019 to 2023. She is currently the Deputy HOD of the Department of General Surgery in CGH.
