Biosketch

A/Prof Ong is a Senior Consultant at the Department of Upper Gastrointestinal & Bariatric Surgery and Deputy Chairman, Division of Surgery and Surgical Oncology at the Singapore General Hospital. He graduated from of the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the Academy of Medicine of Singapore, and the American College of Surgeons.

He is a General Surgeon with sub-specialty interests are in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Surgical Nutrition and Trauma.
